Get your festival and clinic tickets for Rock and Rise 2026 here!

Entry to the festival

Each participant is required to purchase a festival ticket to attend the festival.

Thanks to the help of our sponsors and community supporters, the registration cost for the festival is $195. For this year's festival, we're offering sliding scale ticket pricing - ranging from $145 to $245, depending on your financial circumstances. Please take a moment to read the ticket descriptions below to find the ticket most suited to your current situation.

It is our priority to keep the Rock and Rise festival accessible. One way we try to do this is through our scholarship program where select folks with multiple barriers to participation will be able to attend the festival and participate in a clinic for free. The scholarship program for 2026 is now closed and candidates have been selected.

A Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement ("Waiver") must be completed by each participant (or parent or legal guardian for a minor participant) before participation in Rock and Rise 2026. This is a condition of all bookings. View the waiver here.

Festival Ticket

Please take a moment to review the pricing options below, to help determine the most appropriate ticket for your current financial situation. The standard ticket is based on the cost for Rock and Rise to run the festival, so there is a limit on the number of discounted tickets we have available. Please consider your overall wealth when making these decisions, not only your current level of income.

Festival ticket: Standard ($195)

Select this ticket if:

Your basic needs are comfortably covered.
You can budget for things like a gym membership, gear, and the occasional weekend trip.
You might carry some debt, but it's manageable.
Paying the base ticket price doesn't require major trade-offs.

If you're in a position to give a little more, consider a Supporter ticket to help make the festival accessible to more climbers.

Festival ticket: Supporter ($245)

Select this ticket if:

Your financial needs are met and you have access to savings.
Spending on experiences like this doesn't require trade-offs elsewhere.
You'd like to help make the festival accessible to more climbers.

The extra cost goes directly towards funding Supported Tickets, helping open the door for climbers who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend. For every three Supporter Tickets purchased we will open up another Supported Ticket.

Festival ticket: Supported ($145)*

Select this ticket if:

You can cover your basic needs, but there isn't much left over after that.
Extras like a climbing gym membership or new gear feel out of reach right now.
You have limited savings and need to budget carefully for things like weekend trips.
A discounted ticket makes the difference between attending and not.

*IMPORTANT: This tier of tickets is limited. If they sell out, we will release a new batch on May 2nd (noon PT) depending on the number of Supporter tickets that have been sold and/or if new funding has arrived from elsewhere.

Festival Ticket

Every festival ticket includes:

Festival entry (Friday evening–Sunday afternoon) with camping onsite
Climbers coffee and light breakfast
Saturday community dinner
Friday opening presentations
Morning yoga both days
Access to clinics (additional cost)
Gear demos from sponsoring brands and local partners
Saturday evening programming: Local artists market, tai chi, featured community speakers, dance lessons, music from live musicians and DJs
One free raffle ticket for a chance at prizes
Space to connect with others, find climbing partners and mentors, and be part of a movement empowering lesser-heard voices and redefining who belongs in climbing

Clinic Tickets

Clinic tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis. You must have a festival ticket to book onto a clinic. More information and the prerequisites for each clinic can be found here.

Standard Clinic ($155)

Whether you're building anchors or learning new trad skills, the majority of our clinics are one day, and cost $155.

Intro to Climbing ($125)

We are running Intro to Climbing clinics on both days at a reduced price.

Two-day clinic ($245)

The photography clinic runs across both days. If you select this option, this will be your only clinic for the weekend.

Standard Equipment

For all clinics, you will need the following personal items:

Climbing shoes
Harness
Belay device
Climbing helmet

If you don't own some/all of these items, don't worry! When you check out we will ask you which items you're missing, and do our best to source free rentals for you. On the off chance we run out of rental gear, we can recommend local business that offer rentals.

Some clinics list additional gear. All these items are optional, and are only mentioned to allow you to get more comfortable using your own equipment.
